Zebra investments has today Wednesday 1-05-2024 announce an 80% takeover of Ghana division one league side Tamale city.
After weeks of speculations of the takeover, the Chairman of Zeebra investments company limited, Mr. Iddrisu Abdulai confirmed the news through a press statement.
“Following successful talks and negotiations with the stakeholders of Tamale city fc . Zebra has signed an MOU for 80% stake in the club.
“Salaries for playing body and technical bench are being regularly paid since the takeover .
“Provision of funds are being made regularly based on budget for each match since the takeover with undertaking to pay any wining bonuses.
“Accrued salaries and debts in the club are also undergoing relevant audit for validation and subsequent settlement.
Tamale city are currently 3rd on the access bank division 1 zone 1A table with 39 points with 4 matches to end the season.
